Welcome to Corinne Platt Counseling! I entered the field of counseling because I am passionate about helping people connect to their truest selves. I think we all want lives of meaning and connection, and most of us feel a deficit. Navigating today’s world is challenging. Whether you’re looking for support in your relationships, your work, or your personal life, I hold space in a supportive, compassionate and non-judgmental way that allows for the ability to make change. 

I offer Narrative, Dream, and Solution-Focused approaches for adolescents and adults covering a wide range of psychological and emotional issues. I am trained in crisis response and have worked with the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Co-Response and Juvenile Diversion programs in the aftermath of abuse and trauma. 

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), as well as a certified Dreamwork Practitioner. If desired, we’ll use dreams to foray into the unconscious. Dreams are powerful links to our true selves and our unacknowledged longings. When you have a vivid dream, it is begging you to step in and look more closely. 

I offer guidance that allows you greater intimacy with your life, your relationships, and the world at large. We’ll discuss your truths, the stories you carry, and how you might change your stories to change your life. We all get trapped in patterns that don’t serve us well. Together we’ll create a safe space and work to develop coping strategies and clarity that will help you feel better and improve your life.
